On March 12th, 2024, the night sky came alive with wonder and discovery as Perunthalaivar Kamarajar Government Engineering College, Karaikal, played host to a mesmerizing Public Sky Observation event. Organized as part of an outreach activity, this event sought to bring the marvels of the cosmos closer to the people of Karaikal and inspire a newfound appreciation for the night sky.

Under the guidance of Bharathkumar, the session was led with enthusiasm and expertise, aimed at training NSS students to operate telescopes effectively. With the overarching objective of preparing volunteers to implement the Namma Telescope programme in Karaikal, the event served as a stepping stone towards fostering a culture of astronomy outreach in the region.
